Alhamdulillah, on November 1st, 2025, Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada had the opportunity to have a guest lecture delivered by Dr. Mirza Tahir Ahmad Sahib, AI Desk In-Charge, at Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada on Artificial Intelligence and its applications. He discussed topics such as machine learning, computer vision, augmented reality, face recognition, etc. Dr. Sahib highlighted the usefulness of Generative AI while emphasizing that humans must oversee its outputs, avoid feeding personal information, and not use it to translate Jamaat books, as it may have errors. He explained AI limitations like hallucinations and biases, demonstrated programming and fine-tuning AI, and showed students how to use AI tools on readquran.app. Overall, the session greatly benefited the students.
