Alhamdulillah, Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada had a unique opportunity to have a guest lecture delivered by Reverend Monsignor Owen Keenan, who is a Roman Catholic Priest serving under St. Patrick’s Parish in Brampton, Ontario.
In his lecture, he spoke about the importance of fostering harmony and mutual understanding between Muslims and Christians, highlighting shared values such as devotion to God, service to humanity, and the moral responsibilities of religious leadership. Father Keenan also shared aspects of his personal journey to the priesthood, offering insights into the experiences and inspirations that shaped his path.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which students engaged in thoughtful discussion and benefited from his responses.
