By the grace of Allah Almighty, Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada had the opportunity to hold Jalsa Seerat-un-Nabi (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on February 1, 2024. The session was presided over by Respected Muhammad Musa Sahib, teacher of Quranic commentary at Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hazqeel Ahmad, followed by the Urdu translation of the verses presented by Adeel Ahmad. After this, Faizan Masroor Haq recited an Urdu poem. Subsequently, Naufal Asghar read a Hadith and presented its translation in both Urdu and English.
The first speech of the Jalsa was delivered in Urdu by Nauman Ahmad, titled “The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as the Perfect Manifestation of Divine Attributes.”
The second speech, delivered in English, was presented by Jazib Hafeez. The title of his speech was “Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): The Balanced Personality.” In this speech, he elaborated on how the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) perfectly fulfilled the rights of both Allah and His creation.
The concluding address was given by Respected Muhammad Musa Sahib, who emphasized the importance of invoking blessings (Durood) upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Jalsa ended with a concluding prayer led by Respected Muhammad Musa Sahib.
